ALCHEMY CASE STUDIES ON IMPACT BY DESIGN– A STRATEGY SEPHEBO HELPED DEVELOP
In this series of case studies published on Lefa La Rona Trust's knowledge hub, the thinking behind the Alchemy's Impact by Design strategy is explored based on various practical applications. Sephebo played a key role in helping ground the strategy in a unique configuration of global practices including Systems and Design Thinking and the use of a Life Course Approach as a organising framework.
FIRST OF ITS KIND COMMUNITY PROFILES DEVELOPED FOR ALCHEMY
In 2020/21 Sephebo compiled six community profiles for Alchemy using for the first time in South Africa a Life Course Approach to organise relevant community data. This approach improves both communities and resource owners to better understand the challenges faced as well as how to make meaningful progress in difficult to solve problems. In another first, this work included the only known demonstration of interactive means and resource planning at a community level in South Africa.
